We all come across various choices that we have to make in our lives. Some trivial and some life-altering, but each one of them relevant to our existence. Some choices are made for us. We are told what to do, what option to pick, what option not to pick. Some choices we make for ourselves. We evaluate, we ponder, and we decide. Every choice has its consequence. Some positive, some negative, some ordinary. We all strive to make, what we believe, are perfect choices.
But maybe there are no perfect choices. Your choices may not be understood by everyone, at times not even to the people who you think understand you very well. But these choices are important to how you want to live your life. Maybe all that matters is that the choices that you make do not allow you to judge yourself, and let you live at peace with yourself.
Nayantara, Anuradha, and Masha made their own choices. Nayantara never let her passion come second, Anuradha loved her daughter too much to worry about societal pressures, and Masha always kept her relations above everything else, sometimes even her own principles. Their choices were judged and ridiculed, their choices were flawed, but their choices were their own. These women knew that there are no perfect choices, and it was not possible to please, and be understood by, everyone all the time.
There is a price that one has to pay for making their own choices. The price for choosing one's happiness and peace of mind. Sometimes it takes a lot of effort to not be dictated by others. To do what you want to do when everyone tells you otherwise. These women knew that while it would be easy to forgive others for not understanding their choices, it would be very difficult for them to forgive themselves for not making the choices they wanted, just to be understood by others.
