Life is a collection of cherished moments and memories. People will always be telling you to live in the moment, as the present is a gift, it is now. Wondering about how the future will pan out isn't such a waste of time either. Instead it may be rather important sometimes. But what you have with the present is what you can be sure of, because you are thrown into it. Being wise, is devouring your present.
You will not always feel like being in the moment. Sometimes emotions and even life can be too overwhelming, making you lose touch with the present. But even in those profuse moments you should know, you are creating memories encased in time. So don't succumb to sadness because you feel there's no way out. Of course there is, there always will be.
On the contrary, there are moments that we never want to let go. Endless pictures, but more than that, endless stories. Sunsets and stars, breezes and butterflies, heights and hills. Whether it's these places or the people you visit these places with, everything gifts you moments you would want to keep alive for life. That matters.
A mithai ka dabba is just like that, a relished part of childhood when families collected and exchanged sweets. It's a time to stuff yourself, like with halloween candies. The memories take you back, reminiscing the 'good old times'. The cherished times with the people you loved the most, or the crazy times that were worth it.
Special moments don't have to be cliché. It belongs to you, it's personal. You decide what your special moments are. It doesn't matter how life might be right now, you should live for the times you care for. Some moments deserve your true presence. And such moments create your life's essence. So it might be difficult for you to give your best to every second of your life, but you can always try and choose the times, people and places that you want to count in your summary.
