Dear CSK,
IPL or cricket has never been my thing. Yellow has never been my colour. Or at least it wasn't until 11 men came wearing it with strength, heart, and skill. That is when I knew, yellow is special, and will always belong to the Chennai Super Kings. Time flies. All the happiness and screaming when watching them win and the disappointment during their losses, all these years celebrated. However a pile of excitement remained, for every match, every run. That's when I understood, this level of excitement belongs to Chennai Super Kings.
From Dhoni's wise tranquility to Jaddu's swag. From Du Plessis' prodigious innings to Gaikwad's splendid starts. From the men in wearing yellow jerseys to joy in all our hearts, this journey is full of diversity. That's when I understood, diversity is associated to the Chennai Super Kings.
The hours of watching and discussing the match with friends and family. The bets made, lost and won but most importantly cherished memories and inside jokes. CSK, you have given me a conversation starter and ice breaker, but more importantly a chance to bond with fellow yellow lovers, or maybe RCB's loyal supporters, or MI's confident fans.
Be it a couple of bad performances or even a year, even the glitches of their destiny cannot stop them from coming back strong. Thank you CSK for being the epitome of consistency, hardwork and remarkable comebacks. Thank you CSK for teaching me that it's not always about winning, it's about losing, learning and coming back with a swing! This is to Dhoni's Dhamakedar Men in Yellow. Your effort is what my heart follows. Whistle Podu
P.S. /Seeing Dhoni finish against MI on 21st April was the best./
