Introduction to my "Looking Glass"

Hey! this is me, Mabel. Well, this is me trying to express my feelings, through a reflection on movies, poetry, random conversations with my friends or family, and many more things which I like to call my “looking glass.” I like to call it this since these are my ways of understanding my perspectives towards certain ideas, feeling, and perspectives.

Why do this, you might ask?

Well, since the start of my IB course I have kept myself open to new options and opportunities, or maybe have been forced to do so with compulsory elements like CAS. But, don’t get me wrong, it’s been kind of fun up till now at least and I hope it continues to be this way.

I am obsessed with watching movies and you might hate this or maybe even like it but well, I am a Bollywood fanatic. You might see all the songs and dances, but what’s more important for me is the implicit message that I receive from the movie, or just why I enjoy this movie so much. For the most, I’m just seizing the day my friend because Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (I hope you got the reference).

I usually keep these random thoughts in my mind, but writing them down helped me understand these scattered thoughts better, and maybe sharing them with the world is scary but also fun, because I get to know what you think of the same.

So here’s what you are likely to see in my blog; feelings or emotions stricken by movies, poetry and other things. A lot of questioning on beliefs or views, because I’m a curious person and you can also expect a few some rants.
